Muder, Mayhem and Misadventure tour
Our annual Murder, Mayhem & Misadventure Walking Tour at the historic Oakwood Cemetery is free and covers the chilling, untimely deaths of “residents” of Oakwood portrayed by actors at their grave sites. The 2024 tour is scheduled for October 26.
The approximately 1 hour walking tours highlight historical – not scary – events from the 1860s-1910s and usually starts every 15-20 minutes near the Oakwood Chapel from 10am - 3:00pm.
Kids under adult supervision are always welcome, but please leave your pets at home per Austin cemetery rules and wear closed-toed shoes.
