6th Annual -- Murder, Mayhem & Misadventure Halloween Walking Tour at Oakwood Cemetery
The tours highlighted the lives and deaths of Austin's early citizens. These chilling tales of 19th and 20th century murders and other untimely deaths shed new light on Austin's history and put you in a ghoulish mood!

Cemetery Stone: Professor Emeritus of Geology Earle F. McBride presented a cemetery tour examining the response of different stones to the elements and microbial growth, and how both the texture of natural stone and its treatment by stonecutters influence legibility with time.
