Our Organization

Save Austin’s Cemeteries (SAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving historic cemeteries in Austin through documentation and education, and to promote historic cemeteries of Austin as local and state cultural resources. Members and volunteers donate their time and talents to better document the condition and inventory at cemeteries and to provide education and awareness.

Goals:

  • Identify Key Preservation Issues
  • Build Community Support through Education and Membership
